Accessibility statement

Last updated 8 October 2026

This statement applies to devroom.uk, including the blog and the timesheet sign-in. It is run by devroom, a trading name of YIOSHI LTD.

We build digital services for the public sector, so we hold our own website to the same standard. The Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to private companies, but we publish this statement in the same format because we believe they should.

Using this website

You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen
  • navigate the whole website using just a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • navigate the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to the website using a screen reader
  • turn off animation: the site follows your device’s reduced motion setting

We have also made the text as simple as we can to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. This website is partially compliant because of the issue listed below.

Non-compliant content

  • Some images inside older blog posts, imported from our previous website, have no text alternative. People using a screen reader may miss information shown in those images. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text content). We plan to add text alternatives, or remove images that add nothing, by 31 December 2026.

Content that is not in scope

  • The animated map and grid behind the page content are decorative. They are hidden from assistive technology, and the same information is given in text: the client list names every client.
  • Links to other websites, such as Clutch, LinkedIn and certificate registries, go to pages we do not control.

Feedback and contact information

If you find a problem not listed on this page, or you need information from this website in a different format, email info@devroom.uk. We will reply within 5 working days.

If you are not happy with our reply, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

How we tested this website

We last tested this website on 8 October 2026. We tested:

  • the home page, blog index, blog search, a blog post, the policy pages and the sign-in pages
  • at desktop and mobile screen sizes
  • with automated checks against WCAG 2.2 AA (axe-core and Lighthouse)
  • by moving through each page using only a keyboard

We fixed the issues these tests found, apart from the one listed above. We test again whenever we make a major change to the website.

Preparation of this statement
